The Jefferson Parish Constable's Office strives on having our deputies trained in all fields of law enforcement. From classroom training to field training we want to have professional deputies assisting the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, Gretna Police, and the surrounding agencies that protect you, our citizens.
The Constable is dedicated to the office to which he holds and will be professional in all aspects.
Below you will see how we train. From O.C. (pepper spray) training to firearms we want to give you first look at the day to day training seasons that our deputies go through.
Deputy Vincent Marziale goes through OC spray Certification.
Deputy Todd Croal OC Spray Certification
Deputy (Chaplin) Murphy Laiche goes through O.C. Spray (gel) certification. Deputy Laiche volunteer to take the full GEL application which has high concentration of pepper. This is the standard carry for the JPCO 1 department. It prevents contamination to persons in the area and the spray is confined.
